I am a voracious reader and I love to immerse myself in the pages of a good fantasy/sci-fi book. After many years of happily reading and reviewing books on Goodreads I deciding if I want to jump ship due to the mass changes from it's new owners.
I still don't see why this book is being rated 5 stars. Different strokes do different folks. It did get a little better in the second half. It is also apparent that the author has never really spent time in Seattle or in Portland. The inconsistencies really irk me considering I live within a few hours drive from Seattle. Even though the writing still makes my palms twitch, it is an addictive trashy read.
